This was the first day that we left the hotel to start the "adventure".  We started the day off having breakfast at the Pearl Cafe, which is decorated with over a million pearls.  Then we boarded a traditional double decker London Bus and proceeded to Westminster Abbey, which is pretty much across the street from Parliament, where you can find the clocktower of Big Ben.  I say it that way because Big Ben is actually the bell inside the clocktower, and the clocktower itself is just called the clocktower.  We spent a few hours exploring Westminster Abbey, since it's a functioning church, photos are not allowed inside.  But the entire place has people buried in it.  Both inside and out.  There is even the grave of the unkown soldier.  Which is the only grave that you're not allowed to walk on.  Even the Queen walks around that grave, even during her coronation.

After we left Westminster Abbey we went over to the Horse Court, where we saw the mounted Horse Guard do a procession.  Then we walked through St. James Park to Buckingham Palace.  Where we saw the guards changing, but not quite the "official" changing of the guard, apperently that's a huge ceremony.  After we left there we went to the gift shop and then over for Crumpets and Tea.

Later that evening we had dinner at the Soho House, which is an exclusive restaurant across the street from the Prince Edward Theater where Mary Poppins was playing.  After dinner we went over and saw the Mary Poppins play, and afterwards got a backstage tour of the production.
