Wait... what?  We have to return to the real world?  NO!!!!!  Alas every adventure must come to an end, and this was the day for ours.  We went to the airport and flew back to reality.  We miss our guides & companions already.  Of course we needed to get back and go to Disneyland to ride the new Nemo Submarine ride, but that's a different adventure. :)

Day 8

The Most Dangerous Part of Our Journey...The Return to Civilization.

Up way early again, and time to pack, pack, pack!  Then it was time to head to the airport in Grand Rapids Colorado, and watch Tiffany cry as we all said goodbye. I gave her my cowboy hat that I bought for the trip--I'm going to get one with a string the next trip so it won't fly off!  Dozens of hugs all round, and before we left, an impromptu slide show on one of the party's laptop!  Then off to our "little bird" who carried us to Phoenix to catch the "big bird" home.

But...how are we going to manage without our elves!!! Will I have to get water for myself again? Bleah!
