Vacation 2009 - Disneyworld

Normally I break these vacation pages up by day, but Disneyworld requires a bit of a different break-up due to visiting several parks in a single day, and how often we visit Epcot during our stay.  So we will be breaking it up by park instead, with no regard to which day we spent in each park.  I also broke our visit to Epcot's Living Seas into it's own category because Living Seas was such a big deal to us.  Amber did all of the write-ups for this trip.

Disney's Animal Kingdom

Time for a safari!  We took a special backstage tour of Animal Kingdom, encountered mysterious and wonderful animals of the jungle, then braved Mt. Everest to do battle with that terror of the snows, the Yeti!

Disney's Epcot

Where else can you travel the world, try cuisine from a variety of countries, and then blast off in a mission to space?  Epcot was our favorite place of all the parks to eat!

Disney's Epcot: Living Seas

"Mine? Mine? Mine"?  Nemo and the seagulls were on hand to welcome us to adventures in Divequest, a 5.7-million-gallon saltwater tank which could hold Spaceship Earth with room to spare!  This gigantic tank is home to several endangered species, turtles, rays, and a few very well-fed sharks.

Disney's Magic Kingdom

What would Disney be without classic rides like Pirates of the Caribbean, the Haunted Mansion, and It's A Small World?  This part of the park looks the most like the "other" mouse kingdom--except for the ibises strolling by the water, we would almost think we were back home!

Disney's Hollywood Studios

We encounter Hollywood a la Mouse! From the glitter of classic Thirties Hollywood to the sands of Tatooine, we marvel at the wonders of the silver screen!

Other

Photos taken around the resort, but not in any particular park.  Including but not limited to the resort we were staying in.
