Amber's Journal
Today after another visit to the breakfast buffet and raiding their hash browns, we set off to Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park. When we arrived, they painted our faces to welcome us. The guides told us they'd do that, but we kind of thought they were kidding, so were surprised to find ourselves daubed with stripes!
The Aborigines were really nice, and seemed to have good senses of humor. They'd talk about hunting in the outback, then going home and cooking it up in the microwave! They really wowed us with their skills with the didgeridoo-you have to do circular breathing which means breathing in while you're breathing out! Makes me dizzy just thinking about it.
