Day 2 - Western MajestyWhitewater rafting on Class 3 rapids. Yeehaw! We went rafting down Snake River in Jackson. The water was C-O-L-D-! Amber accurately recreated the sound of angry Chihuahuas when the water first entered the boat. Several of our fellow adventurers were concerned about the sudden and high pitched noise, I on the other hand was already familiar with it. At a calm point in the river a few of our fellow adventurers decided to brace the icy water, which somehow convinced Amber to do the same. As soon as she hit the water she couldn't get back in the raft quickly enough. After the rafting we went back to town and caught the shootout on main street. A bit hokey, but kinda fun at the same time. Then we went to a local restaurant and had the sampler platter, with Buffalo, Elk, and Wild Boar. That's the way I like my animals, on a plate. |
