Day 3 - Yellowstone JourneyEarly morning, leaving Jackson Hole heading to Yellowstone First a stop at Jenny Lake in the Grand Tetons, to take a hike up to Inspiration Outlook. Then up to Yellowstone with a stop at West Thumb Geyser Basin to see our first hot springs. Then onward to the Yellowstone Snow Lodge. Which was described as "rustic", meaning there were no TV's or Internet access. We had a nice dinner at the lodge, and then decided to take a dusk walk out to watch Old Faithful erupt for the first of 5 times. |
