Day 4 - Trail BlazerA morning nature walk through the nearby geysers and pools, starting with Old Faithful (#2 eruption) which was very faithful. Saw a few dozen springs and geysers in the immediate area around Old Faithful. In the afternoon we went and saw the Lower Geyser Basin which includes Grand Prismatic Spring, which was on the cover of National Geographic in August (http://ngm.nationalgeographic.com/2009/08/table-of-contents). Then we had dinner in the Old Faithful Inn. |
