Day 6 - On The RangeAh, horses... We decided to do back to back horseback riding today. After 5 hours in a saddle, I wasn't sure I'd be able to walk when I got off. They decided that Amber should ride "Amber" the horse. Thankfully Amber (the horse) was very mild mannered and didn't give Amber (the rider) much trouble at all. On the other hand, I was a horse named Medicine Hat, and had a bit more attitude, and we had to have some discussions about him trying to rub me off on trees we passed. He finally gave in about an hour and a half in. But whenever he noticed I was taking pictures, and not paying close enough attention... branch! We ended the day with a farewell dinner, where we bid our old and new friends farewell. |
