Day 2 - We invade Monaco

Today we were whisked off the cruise ship, popped onto a little connector boat (called a "tender"), and then whisked away from the little harbor village for a short bus ride off to the splendors of Monaco! Most of the trip was Cliffside, but with amazing views of glittering blue seas and chichi villas with perfect boats tied up in front.

We got to go through part of the Grimaldi castle (which would just be perfect as our summer home) and then walk over to see the Casino. I swear... I could see James Bond behind every bush! (And the line of amazing cars in front of the Casino sure made the day of all the guys!)

After a really amazing lunch with a really impressive selection of desserts (burp!) we took a walking tour of an amazing little village called Eze. The whole village is utterly picture-postcard perfect-it's utter Medieval-style Mediterranean perfection. It's full of twists and turns and has a huge fancy series of gardens, one of which was a cactus garden that would have made my Dad drool with envy!
